There’s something magical about downtown High Springs. The small-town charm, the friendly faces, and the unique spirit of local businesses make it a place where creativity can truly flourish. That’s why I’m dreaming big — and bringing Chasing Dragonflies to life with a permanent storefront right here in the heart of our town.
Chasing Dragonflies started as an online shop and occasional pop-up market, where I shared local art, thrifted treasures, and handmade creations. Over time, I realized that our community isn’t just looking for art to admire or coffee to sip — it’s craving a space to connect, create, and collaborate. A place where local artists, authors, bakers, musicians, and makers can share their talents, and where visitors can explore, discover, and be inspired.
The dream? A cozy, welcoming hub downtown where you can:
Browse original artwork, prints, and upcycled treasures
Enjoy a simple, locally sourced cup of coffee
Discover recordings, books, and creations from local artists
Attend pop-up events, open mic nights, workshops, and community gatherings

I’ve already begun making connections with local bakers, planters, musicians, and artists. I’ve hosted pop-ups at events and even teamed up with nearby businesses to test ideas and grow our community network. But the next step — a permanent storefront downtown — is where our vision can truly take flight.
Every corner of this space will be intentional, from thrifted and upcycled furniture to displays that highlight local creativity. Coffee, art, and community will meet in a space that reflects the heart of High Springs: welcoming, inventive, and alive with local flavor.
